Sabrena and Justin’s love of board games is an essential part of their love story. We worked with them to showcase that love with these customized board game wedding invitations, brought to life with a chalkboard background.

Pro Tip: adding texture (like the lace print seen above) adds depth to the design and makes it easier to incorporate different fabrics into your decorations.

The Adventurer Theme

Kayla and Victor’s map-themed wedding invitations reflect a love of travel and the concept of starting a new adventure. By creating a balance of graphic and text, the two elements work together to lead the guest through the pieces of the invitation. When choosing a wedding program, duplicating the wedding invitation design was an obvious and easy choice.

The Stargazing Theme

We were star-struck by Hannah and Aaron’s idea to incorporate the night sky into their wedding invitations. This use of silhouettes on a deep purple background really made the text come alive. While this use of a theme is a little more abstract, the couple was able to pull colors and natural elements into their celebration while still maintaining the theme established by the invitation.

The Glamour Theme

A common misconception of wedding themes is that they have to be obvious. Kaitlyn and Joshua went with a twenties glamour wedding invitation that set the stage for a classy and fun affair. We loved Taylor and Trevor’s use of gold and burgundy to create a theme that focused on colors and textures. The colors inspire guests to correlate the big event with the fall season, while the fun leafy textures work well with the font and keep the reader engaged.
